Foulrice Farm nestles at the foot of the Howardian Hills, about 15 miles
north of York, and the beautiful setting, peaceful environment and skilled and dedicated staff combine to make it the ideal training establishment. The farm comprises
300 acres of grass land, and has 45 stables as well as a range of barns and outbuildings.
Stuart Beaumont runs the farm and produces high quality hay and haylage which is used to feed our own horses, as well as supplying other trainers and people in the equine industry. If you are interested in finding out more about the haylage business please log onto

Sand and Fibre Circular Gallop
It has its own gallop comprising just over a mile of all-weather sand and fibre round gallop.
Grass Gallop
There is also a circular grass gallop which runs along side the all-weather gallop and is the same distance.
Schooling Lane with Poles and Fences
We have our own all-weather schooling lane with poles and fences which is used to get young horses going and teach them to jump.
Horse Box
We have our own horse box which can transport up to 5 horses. We think this is important as we don’t usually have to share transport with horses from other yards, and this reduces the risk of the spread of infection between yards.
